How can we offer this for free?

Simply Remind Me uses an "ad-supported" revenue model. This means we display adverts throughout the site, application and in our e-mail reminders. If an advert catches your eye, and you click on it, we get a little bit of revenue from that particular advertiser.

SMS reminders are unfortunately not free, as we have to pay a charge to our SMS gateway provider. However as a thank you for purchasing SMS credits, we do not show any adverts to users who have purchased SMS credits within the last 30 days.


What countries do we support for SMS messages?

Through our SMS gateway provider, we support the majority of countries worldwide.

You will need to enter your mobile number in the format "+44.123456789" where +44 is the country code. For example, for a United States mobile number, you would enter "+1.123456789" as the mobile number.


How often can reminders be sent?

There is no limit on the frequency or number of reminders that can be sent. Our systems send reminders at 5 minute intervals, 24x7.


Is my data safe?

Simply Remind Me is hosted on servers provided by Memset Ltd. All data is exclusively stored within the United Kingdom in Memset's Dunsfold and Reading data-centres. Memset's server platform has been approved for use by the UK Government, therefore it has an extremely high level of security.

The Simply Remind Me servers are firewalled off from the general public, monitored regularly for potential weaknesses and mis-configuration, and access to the servers is restricted to a white-list of IP addresses.
